The Local PlumberŪ
"PLUMBING IS IN OUR BLOOD"
My great grandfather, Michael Stenson, came over from Ireland to Chicago around 1890. An old picture shows him with work shoes, oversized dark pants tied with strings around the ankles, a white shirt and tie, suit coat with a shovel and wrench in one hand, also tied together with string.
He started a sewer business connecting house sewers to the new Chicago sewer system when Chicago raised the streets 10 feet to prevent major flooding.
His son George followed in his dads profession but took up new plumbing construction in schools and large commercial buildings in Chicago.
My dad, Bill Bangert, Sr., started in 1947 with his Uncle George as an apprentice plumber installing plumbing in every type of building from residential, hospitals, schools, high rise structures and large commercial buildings.
After college at University of California, Santa Barbara 1982, I jumped into working with my dad and brothers Jim, Matt and Tom on plumbing projects throughout California servicing hospitals, residential and high rise buildings.
With a plumbing backround of 144 years of our family servicing the public's plumbing needs, I can truly say " We do not know everything yet about plumbing", but we are so sure about our workmanship that whatever we do for our customers is guaranteed 100% for life.
"We specialize in plumbing"
