We are a family owned business since 1947 starting in Chicago and moving up and down the west coast of California, North and South.


William B. Bangert Sr. began working under his Uncle in Chicago making $1.25/hr. He then got married and moved west to California with his new family and settled in Tustin, California. When the eldest Bangert sons were capable of work, they began in the plumbing business working under there father.


The company soon became a company known as THE LOCAL PLUMBER a division of MBTJ BANGERT INC. and has been a growing family owned business for over 50 years!
